Tedlar Bag for Air & Gas Sampling
Tedlar bags are recommended in many US EPA methods including TCLP and methods TO-3 (VOCs), TO-12 (NMOC), TO-14A (VOCs), TO-15 (VOCs), ASTM D-5504 (reduced sulfur compounds) and a variety of atmospheric gas methods.
The Nutech Tedlar bags are made up of Polyvinyl Fluoride (PVF) film of 2 mil thickness and its heat resistance temperature is 150℃ to 170℃. Generally, it used for the gas analysis application in the hot stack and industrial chimneys where the temperature of flue gas is very high. Due to its high resistance to the heat, this is the ideal sampling bag in these conditions.
The valve is made up of Teflon and with patent design. The standard capacity of the Tedlar bag is 500ml, 1 liter, 2 liters, 3 liters, 5 liters, and 10 liters. The customization is also possible as per the client’s requirement.
Tedlar bags have an excellent impermeability and inertness to many gases, which decreases the losses and increase the storage time which makes it portable and handy during the field study.
