VFC/PFAS Analysis per US EPA OTM-50 Method
US EPA OTM-50 with its title Sampling and Analysis of Volatile Fluorinated Compounds from Stationary Sources Using Passivated Stainless-Steel Canisters, is designed to provide a consistent approach for measuring specific Volatile Fluorinated Compounds (VFCs) emitted from stationary source. These targeted 30 individual VFCs is a subset of airborne PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). OTM-50 is the current best practices for sampling and analyzing the PFAS target compounds from stationary sources.
As a participant in the collaborative experiment for the development of OTM-50, Nutech Instruments utilizes our decades of experiences in canister-based VOCs sampling and analysis and develops a complete VFC/PFAS analysis solution from sample collection to preparation.
