Customer Testimonial

We have done some testing with the unit and found it to work well for some of our applications. We tested sampled concentration levels of about 50 VOCs that we commonly analyze and found no evidence of sample contamination – a challenge we have had in the past with another system. We also found the system to work reliably collecting a series of short samples.

FAQ

The Nutech 2703 is a portable automatic air sampler designed for collecting ambient air samples into evacuated canisters (e.g., SUMMA canisters) for VOC analysis.

It is widely used by environmental monitoring stations, third-party laboratories, research institutions, and industrial users conducting air quality studies.

Yes, it is compatible with most commonly used canisters on the market due to its flexible and modular design.

The system uses an electronic flow meter and proportional valve to precisely control sampling flow without relying on mechanical restrictors.

Typical flow ranges are 0–50 sccm or 0–100 sccm with ±2% accuracy.

Yes. Based on parameters such as canister volume, sampling duration, final pressure, and elevation, the system can automatically calculate the required flow rate.

Yes. The instrument supports low-flow settings with decimal precision (e.g., 3.5 mL/min).

Yes. It supports scheduled start/stop, automatic leak check, and self-check before sampling, enabling unattended operation.

Common modes include 1-hour, 8-hour, and 24-hour sampling, with flexible customization.

It can be operated via onboard control panel, PC software, or mobile App (Android/iOS).

Sampling will not start unless the leak check passes, ensuring data integrity.

Yes. It continuously records flow rate and pressure data during sampling and allows graphical and tabular review.

Yes. Data can be exported and shared for reporting or compliance purposes.

A pressure change of ≤0.02 psi within 1 minute is considered a pass.

It supports up to 24 hours of continuous sampling and over 7 days of standby time.

All sampling lines and valve components are treated for chemical inertness to reduce adsorption and contamination.

The filter should typically be replaced after 500 sampling cycles or earlier if clogged.

It is recommended to purge at least quarterly or after sampling highly contaminated air.

Yes. It features a waterproof and dustproof design for all-weather operation.

Yes. When connected to external power, it can run continuously for up to 168 hours or longer.

The 2703 uses electronic flow control with real-time feedback to maintain a stable low flow rate throughout the entire sampling period. This prevents time-weighting bias that commonly occurs with passive or restrictor-based systems.

The system records real-time flow rate and pressure throughout sampling, allowing users to review curves and verify that the sampling process was stable and valid.

After sampling, users can review pressure and flow profiles via software. Stable curves indicate proper operation, while deviations help identify leaks, clogging, or instability.

The sampler supports scheduled start/stop, automatic sampling, and remote control via mobile App or PC, eliminating the need for on-site supervision.

Electronic control adapts to pressure changes in real time, while restrictors provide fixed resistance. This makes the 2703 more accurate and reliable for extended sampling periods.

The system uses active flow monitoring. If the filter becomes clogged and flow drops, users can detect it immediately via real-time data rather than discovering it after sampling.

Users can easily configure sampling duration and flow rate via software, without changing hardware components such as flow restrictors.

Automatic scheduling, remote configuration, and data logging reduce manual intervention, allowing operators to manage multiple sampling sites efficiently.

Built-in data recording, leak check, and flow verification features provide documented evidence that sampling conditions were controlled and valid.

Automated processes such as leak check, flow calculation, and scheduled operation reduce reliance on manual setup and minimize human error.

Standardized digital control and parameter settings ensure repeatable sampling conditions across different locations and operators.
